Update on The Unforgettable Buzz – Sample Page with Tudor’s “Lost” Ice Bowl Game

Electric football NFL Packers Cowboys The Unforgettable Buzz Book Tudor

The opening of Chapter 20 in The Unforgettable Buzz. This is Tudor’s prototype “Ice Bowl” game, complete with white “frozen” end zones. Lee Payne designed the game in 1968, but it was never put into production. It’s the ultimate “Lost” electric football game.

Electric football and Christmas are inseparable, so with Christmas closing in it’s time for an update on The Unforgettable Buzz.

When Marvel Graphic Designer Michael Kronenberg joined the project, we were faced with a tough choice. Michael could tweak the mostly finished but barely professional grade product that we had…or we could start from scratch and let Michael redesign the book beginning at Page One.

After looking at Michael’s amazing body of work our decision was clear  – we would be foolish not to have him design the book in its entirety. And we’re excited to report that under Michael’s vision The Unforgettable Buzz has transformed from an Arena League free agent into a potential Hall of Famer. We’ve quadrupled the number of images from our initial version. Michael’s artistry has brought the story of electric football to life in ways we never imagined.

We are 300 pages in at the moment and working feverishly, but we will not be done by Christmas as we had hoped. So we need to ask for your patience just a bit longer.

In the meantime, we wanted to give you a peak inside the book. The sample page we’ve included is from our chapter that covers 1968. We think the wait will be worth it…hopefully you’ll agree!

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to make contact with us at the theunforgettablebuzz.com and on our Facebook page. Your support has been amazing. We are grateful for every word of encouragement you’ve offered.

And if you haven’t already, please sign up for our mailing list. That way you’ll know the minute we have a publication date. And as an extra incentive, Santa has promised to leave something special in the Inbox of all or our mailing list members.

Stay tuned…the best is yet to come!!!
