The Unforgettable Buzz On “The Knee Jerks” Podcast Monday 12/9

The first NFL Electric Football game sports journalist Greg Eno received in 1971..the Tudor NFC 520.

Earl Shores of The Unforgettable Buzz will be talking about Electric Football with Greg Eno (Featured Columnist for The Bleacher Report) and Al Beaton (Bess You Boys) on Monday, December 9.

Greg and Al are both Detroit area sports journalist who have been hosting a Monday evening podcast called The Knee Jerks since 2009. They’ve been at this a long time, covering all Detroit sports-related topic. We’re honored that they’ve asked The Buzz to be part of the show.

Greg is a true Electric Football believer, having written one of the best tributes to Norman Sas in July of 2012. If you haven’t seen Greg’s piece before, it is definitely worth taking the time to read.

Electric Football hit Greg like it hit many of us, with Greg still remembering in detail his different games (see the main photo above), as well as the Tudor NFL teams he ordered from Brooklyn (sounds like he was one of those lucky guys with an entire NFL…) So we are very much looking forward to talking about Electric Football with Greg and Al, especially during the Holiday season.

There will also be a book giveaway during the show. Just go to The Knee Jerks web page and email a question you’d like to ask about The Unforgettable Buzz. If Greg and Al use your question then a signed copy of The Buzz is coming your way in time for Christmas.

So put on your thinking helmets and drop Greg and Al a line by Friday!

  1. I collect electric football players for my game. Finally completing the NFL, both dark and white jerseys for all teams. Fun hobby and an understanding wife make it an awesome hobby. Handpainting teams is time consuming, but very gratifying when you see the finished result. I put my TUDOR players on a COLECO board because I like the way it plays. Was wondering if any other EF people have tried this?

    • Yes, Ray,certainly have put the Tudor players on Coleco and Munro and Gotham boards. Love the variety,of the beauty of our hobby.
